Too often we find investment advisors discouraged from pursuing potential clients when the funds are held in trust, especially in an irrevocable trust.

Please remember:

1. We can serve as trustee and will partner with you as the investment manager on the trust account.
2. The trustee of an irrevocable trust can almost always be removed or changed if a majority of the beneficiaries desire it.

Look for potential trust account clients

1. Current Clients – Sometimes there is family money in a trust somewhere managed by a distant, unliked trustee
2. Prospective Clients – Not the Trustor like most of your accounts, but unhappy Beneficiaries that would love for someone else to manage the investments in their trust.

We can help with the process of educating your potential client that their current trustee can be removed and with the process of replacing their current trustee and establishing you as the investment manager of the trust funds.
